Feathered and furry friends

Not going to waffle on today, just put photos and the odd comment where necessary. Been trying to capture some wildlife in the garden.

The robin, a ground feeder really but was determined to have a nibble! Had quite a few blurred images before I got this one.

We don’t see a dunnock out in the open often.

The chaffinch, another ground feeder, was even more determined than the robin.

And he cracked it!
There was a hollyhock flower just outside the summer house and it was blowing in the strong wind. Took several pics like the first one but eventually got it in focus!

One more flower picture because I liked it against the green.
Haven’t sat out with the camera so much lately so it was very enjoyable.

  1. I know you’ve not intentionally sat out with the camera for ages, so it was good to do it today. Well worth it too as you have some cracking pics amongst those. Number 2 and 5 just jump out to me as being really good and definitely worth printing. 4 is also very cute 😊 They we’re all good, but those ones just stood out to me. I really like the last 2 also. The last one is lovely and really stands out against the green. You should do it more often when the weather is nice, or even if it isn’t 😊
