I waited in when she left as I had a delivery of compost due. Tina had been officiating at a wedding so we had lunch when she got in. Then I took a walk along the road to see The new stock at Missy and got some darker trousers for the winter. On the way back I spotted this bus, well, the back of it. They do have some interesting buses doing the rounds.
The walled garden keeps getting overgrown and weedy but it is also a bit of a dumping ground. I had it in my head to get some proper sorting done out there. I started the side where I have the tomatoes but it was really too hot so moved to the side where the bonsais trees are at the back as it is shaded by the wall. There were opts and all sorts along one side so I go a couple of thing planted in the garden, made some space and got the large logs down to make a stag beetle heap. I carried on a bit after dinner but the rain moved in again. I put the tools away and got the removed weeds etc into the garden bin.
This spider was really tiny so difficult to get a shot with the phone.
Weather permitting I will get out into the walled garden again tomorrow.
May begin the puzzle this evening.
Bel looks very happy to have Pandora’s attention. Pandora is getting braver these days too.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read the misspelling in the next paragraph I nearly spat out my drink. I know it should say wedding, but it sounds like she was just looking over you while you were slaving in the garden 😄
We don’t get things like that on our buses. Miserable lot round here!
You’re endeavours in the walled garden paid off. It looks so much better in the after picture. The beetles will be happy when they find their new home too. Definitely enough work for one day!
The spider came out alright considering it was taken with a phone.
Hope you’re not going to spend hours in the garden working tomorrow.
You might regret starting the puzzle. It’ll drive you nuts if it’s small and double sided 😀
Enjoy what’s left of the evening.
Corrected the misspell, although it was funny. Made some headway but have, a bee in my bonnet now.
ReplyDeleteThe puzzle is tricky!
