A comfy cats life!

This morning I was very achy after a disturbed night, almost talked myself out of feeding the birds, which I do come hell or high water! But did go out in the end and We left early to go to the boot sale. Not so busy today and I managed to stroll round after we had finished our ham and cheese toasties!
When we came home I ordered more bird food and some photo prints and also had a chat with Anya. I had company who settled down when I got her to move off of the jigsaw! What a life this little lady has!
We did get a couple of bits at the boot sale but I missed a plant that I liked. The lady had four but when I returned before we left she had sold them all. Darren spotted a travel Scrabble set which was in great condition and only 50p. I have checked the tiles and it is complete.
This afternoon was chores and getting dinner, I made a batch of sausage rolls which takes a while. When I took the food caddy up to the bin my way was blocked by a garden spider. Haven’t seen one for a while. Took pictures with the phone and then went a different way to the bin to avoid breaking the web!

So not an overly busy day, going to sit and watch Endeavour this evening.

  1. You must have felt rough if you considered not feeding the birds! I know you do that regardless of weather, world wars, alien attacks or anything else thrown at you. Glad you made it to the boot sale though. Looks like you managed to root out a nice bargain. You have this strange addiction to things with small pieces of late. Small jigsaws, now small scrabble pieces! Not bad for 50p though.
Mmmmm sausage rolls. I love homemade sausage rolls but they’re such a faff. I really must make the effort at some point.
The spider pics are pretty good for a phone. I think you have the hang of that now.
    Enjoy your program.

I rarely make sausage rolls these days, as you say, it is a bit of a faff.
