Bad night, below average day but pleasant evening stroll.

I had a very disturbed night and not because I forgot to take my pills this time! The hands are gradually getting worse and the leg doesn’t improve, they both decided to misbehave last night! I did go out to feed the birds but settled on the recliner chair for a while when I came in. I came upstairs, sat down to check my emails and Pandora got on my lap, so we sat quietly for an hour! After lunch I did stir myself to do some tidying and wrote a couple of letters and after dinner I took watering cans into the front garden to water a couple of plants that were wilting and the tubs. The clematis with the little yellow bell flowers that become old men’s beards was such a tiny plant when I put it in, it really has been a major success.
Ivy is wrapping itself round the tap in the front garden but above that there is dead ivy, established leaves and some new growth, I think it is interesting but I am weird!
I noticed a lovely little rose this evening and also discovered that the ice plant is attracting honey bees, the other plants have had a lot of bumble bees.

I then got the hose out and watered the back garden. I was still feeling off colour and lethargic so thought I would go for a walk and maybe get to the sea. I did but took a couple of photos in the memorial garden on the way.

The light is different in the evening, took a lot of pics, some a bit arty!

A couple more shots on the way home.

That has made me feel a little better, hopefully I will have a better night.

  1. Well I certainly hope you have a better night tonight. It’s such a shame that you can’t get a permanent cure for it all. Miracles are hard to come by I suppose ☹️
I love to see the old man’s beard when it’s out like that. I think it’s a really lovely plant. I’ve not seen one for donkeys years. I don’t think you’re weird at all liking the dead and growing plant in the same place. It makes for an interesting picture. You say that the ice plant is attracting honeybees. What is an ice plant, or is that a spelling mistake?
It was a good idea getting out for a bit of fresh air after a day not feeling so good. Another tree bites the dust by the looks of your picture in the memorial garden.
I like your artsy pictures. Lots of different angles and different shadows. Very good. My favourite is the one of the family getting wet on the front. It just says it all really.

  2. Not a spelling mistake, that is the name I know it by, don't know the botanical name!
It made a change being there as the day was drawing to a close.
Have Pandora on my lap again!
