Pictures of the garden centre purchases.
The cats were taken back by the new mat, Blue particularly took quite a while before she would go out!
Another photo of the trip is one that Tina sent me, I adore this donkey and he brays really loudly, you can hear him all over the park!
The twin headed sunflower in the garden is so pretty.
This morning Bel came round and we had a good chat. After lunch I went to see Carol and Sal as I haven’t been helping out this week and wanted to see how they were getting on. Going to give them a hand on Monday. On the way back I called in at Countdown for a tub of fat balls for the birds. Terry was working in there and convinced me to buy this pile of raspberry packs for two pound. Most of them had started to go mouldy but went through them and manage to get a few!
I cooked them in a little water with a little sugar and it is delicious, will use it on cereal on with other fruit.nthere isn’t a lot but I will enjoy it.
I went out in the garden for a while to continue working on the area I started yesterday. I didn’t take a before picture but it was in a similar state to the first picture. Need to get some nice colourful winter plants now!
Tina and Darren went down to the sea and had fish and chips and Tina put her car on charge. She sent me this photo as it was an nice sky.
I was up really early today so will not be doing a lot this evening, just endeavour to stay awake until bedtime!
I love the new mat. I’m surprised the cats didn’t try to attack it!
ReplyDeleteAh bulbs, they’re always good for the garden ๐คจ๐
That’s a nice pic with the donkey. He does look very cute. Bet he gets lots of treats from visitors. He haw he haw he ought to. Sorry…..
That’s an awful lot of raspberries! Bet it took a while to go through them, although it sounds like it was worthwhile. Be nice on ice cream I bet.
That bed looks good now. Hope you didn’t overdo it. What you need is a load of bulbs to put in there now ๐
Fish and chips by the sea always sounds so good. You should have gone too.
Well I’m yawning and I’ve done nothing today. Bet you’re feeling pooped.
A nice day, nothing too strenuous and a decent start made on the garden.
ReplyDeleteI rally like raspberries so it was worth it, although loads went to the garden bin!
