Rain changed plans!

First thing to say is that although Tina is still poorly her test result was negative so that is good. I planned to tidy up the path at the side of the house that leads to the walled garden. I made a good start, decided to move the bins and there were plenty of planks so that they wouldn’t be on mud in the winter. This is how it looked and also one of the brambles growing over Darren’s hang gliders.

I did cut away all the bramble and covered it over again before the rain arrived. Still some work to do, hopefully it will be dry for a while tomorrow.
As it was raining I spent most of the afternoon in the greenhouse. I didn’t take a before picture but it was a mess and dominated by bird food supplies. I didn’t use it at all for growing last year or this but plan to get back into it next year. There is a huge back of rubbish at the right of the door which I will move when it isn’t raining.
Have been cleaning up the iPad this evening! Flu jab tomorrow.

  1. Glad you’re all Covid free. At least you can go out and about, and not have to isolate for ages!
You certainly are determined to get that walled area all sorted and tidied. Shame it rained, but maybe it’s not so bad as it stopped you overdoing it. What you managed to get done does look a lot better though, as does the greenhouse. There looks loads of room in there now. You could get oodles of bird food in there 😊
