Taking it easy

I had a restless night last night, my legs were aching but I think it was just because I had overdone the walking while cutting back the pain killers. So no proper walks today although I haven’t just sat around either. I did go to the local post box early this morning before it’s one a day collection at nine. We had a shopping delivery come so I helped get that in and packed away.
On Sunday we had passed Cherry Lane garden centre but didn’t call in as we had been a while in Beverley. Tina asked if I wanted a trip there today as it didn’t involve much walking, they had a sale, and we could top up the bird food! We had a good wander round and it was very quiet, only about six cars in the car park! We drove into a bit of bad weather on the way back, some silly car shots now.......

I did get quite a lot of bird food but also a couple of bits for me, one edible and one extremely silly.
On Sunday Tina got me a Peter Rabbit storage box and today I have been gathering up some ornaments and have stored them in it. I will keep them and change then around again in a few months, I rally have too many around the place at the moment,
I took another picture of the church when I put the fox food out. Not a colourful sky but it was a wintry light.
No snow here, there was quite a lot of rain in the night though as we saw a lot of water on the paths and fields today.

  1. You have done a fair bit of walking lately, and if you’ve cut down on the pills too it might have a lot to do with it. A couple of days taking it easy should help. Although I know taking it easy isn’t your favourite pastime.
Good to get out for a while today, and get a few goodies too. The flying pig had to be had 😊🐷 The biscuits look pretty good too.
Lovely box, and a good idea to put a few ornaments away. It’ll be nice later on to have a switch around and get them out again. Less things to dust as well!
It felt cold enough for snow here this afternoon, and they are saying we could have a couple of inches of snow here for New Year’s Day. Have to sort my skis out!

    1. Pleasant day and a bit of sorting, making me feel like I am on the way to getting back to normal, whatever that is!
It is a great box, quite strong too. It is a collapsible one, not that it is ever likely to be empty now!
The pig was in the reduced Christmas decoration area, hardly a Christmas decoration, but cute!
