Fairly quiet day

I will start with a couple of photos from two years ago, making the most of these memories while I am not taking many pictures.

That was a great settee and I liked the was the sun caught the lamp in the second one.
This morning the shopping arrived before eight, earlier than expected which caught up on the hop a bit. I got a nice piece of gammon into the slow cooker once it was packed away.
Anya a s I had a face time session which was good, Pandora got on my lap while we were talking and Anya took this picture.
I had a short walk today to Sarah and David’s to deliver their Christmas gifts. I had bought them a biscuit collection before they gave up biscuits! I gave it to them anyway in the hope that next year they will be able to start their coffee mornings again with a few friends. I also did the two framed letters for them. The knee hasn’t been too bad today but I thought another longish walk might be pushing my luck!
I packed the jigsaw away today, we had enjoyed completing it last week. I then sat with my feet up and watched Columbo until I went down to get on with dinner.
I went out to put the fox food out and took a picture of the church while I was out there.
Having a lazy evening as well, I intend to be a bit more active tomorrow.

  1. I remember both those pics. The settee is really good, but a lot of money for secondhand jeans! The lamp was a good pic too. I’ve not really taken any proper pics for a very long time. Maybe I’ll get around to it again if the world ever gets back to normal..ish. I wonder if the biscuit selection will tempt them back onto them? They probably have more willpower than me, which isn’t difficult.
    Like the church pic.
Sounds like you’ve had a good day, but not overdone it which is good. Don’t get too active tomorrow.

    1. A pretty quiet day, but enjoyable, I have Pandora on the back of my chair again, such a funny cat.
Hopefully have a bit of a walk tomorrow, weather permitting.
This time next week Christmas will be over, it seems to have crept up on us now.
