Still tier 3!

The news was a long time coming to establish where we are on the COVID tier scale, and it was as we had expected, staying in the high alert tier even though the numbers have dropped considerably. Today Tina and I did go out to get some jobs done, some shopping in Beverley, dropped that home, then had McDonalds in the car and Tina went to Halfords to get a gadget to check her tyre pressures then she went int Pets at Home to try for the third time to set up and account where she gets the flea drops delivered every month. More of that in a bit. I will start the pics with two from a couple of years ago.

Not a lot of pictures true taking today as we literally just went out on errands. When I was sat in the car when Tina went to Halfords My eye was caught by this exceedingly dirty back window!
When we called indoors with the shopping I took a photo of a primrose in the front garden, I hope it will bloom again in the spring.
When we were eating our lunch in the car I spotted this seagull, it started doing it’s rain dance and did manage to attract a worm!
Tomorrow is the day to assemble and decorate the gingerbread house which should be fun.

  1. These COVID tiers are all over the place. Doesn’t matter what tiers they decide on, the 5 days of grace over Christmas will fuel the virus with a vengeance! Best stay inside as much as possible in the new year I think, but we might be in total lockdown by then anyway! Oh the joys of it all.
Glad you got out for a little while today. It’s nice to have a little drive around and something to eat out, even if it is in the car. We’ll laugh about all this in maybe 2 or 3 years time!
Lovely skies in those first 2 pics. You’ve done really well for nice sky pics since you moved up north. It’s nice that Google reminds you of them too.
The car window is disgusting! They’ll have fun reversing up to anything with it like that. The wiper blade looks like it needs replacing too. But it is Halfords, so maybe that’s what they’re shopping for.
You’d think the worms would have got wise to the old seagull trick by now.....they never learn 😊 🪱
I look forward to seeing a perfectly constructed gingerbread house tomorrow. Good luck 🤞🏻

    1. Still in tier three but that is preferable to the ‘free for all’ planned for next week!
I have had some great skies to take pics of since I moved ‘up north’ and that is six years and counting!
A drive around up here, even when just doing errands is a pleasure as the scenery is pretty.
