Darren had said he would take me to Freeport as I wanted to get a couple of A4 frames for the letters I am colouring as gifts. It was very foggy and Darren turned the car in a different direction to Freeport! He drove out to some fields that are quite high that he passes on the way to work. The view wasn’t what he had hoped as it was too foggy, but the bonus was that he stopped by the stunning water tower that I admire every time we drive by it. The house next to it is call Tower House, which is very appropriate!
We did then go to Freeport, got a few bits and a couple of frames which was the plan.
Today I have done quite a bit to the jigsaw and Darren did join me for a while as well. It is quite a tricky one but we will get it finished.
Tina had ordered a life size Angel and wanted me to stand by it to give an idea of the size!
Will finish with a couple of memory photos again.
Some really nice pics on here again tonight. The water tower is lovely as are the Misty pics. I always want to live in a converted water tower or windmill. Don’t think that’s going to happen now, unless I win the lottery. Watch this space! It was nice of Darren to take on a mystery tour, shame in some respects it was foggy as you would have got to see the view he’d hoped for, but the Misty pics help make up for it.
ReplyDeleteThe puzzle looks extremely complicated. A real sticker to do! Good job you, and Darren have patience.
I notice the life size angel is only a black outline. Do you have to colour that in too? 😊
It was really nice to have the detour before we shopped and a real bonus actually stopping by the water tower.
DeleteThe puzzle is a bit of a stinker but Darren and I both enjoy them so it will get done, and as he is off this week will spend a bit of time with me doing it.
No, haven’t got to colour the Angel.
