This afternoon Tina had things to drop off in Skipsea and some packages to send off so she took me out for a ride. I didn’t take my phone so she let me use hers as we were driving along as the sun was beginning to set, the last one is blurred but still attractive.
I put my feet up after I had made us a cuppa and used the ice pack. Very unusually Blue came across and came up on my lap! She has never been a lap cat so it was a real surprise. Pandora was less than impressed!
I had to move her when a very agitated man was ringing the bell, one of the residents at a local home for people with mental health issues. I sat with him while Tina made a phone call to the home and then we waited for them to come and take him home.
At the weekend Tina had ordered flowers for me on the grocery delivery and they were the only things that didn’t arrive! So when she went to the shop this afternoon she brought some back for me.
Just have to take one of these new tablets at night, they appear to be a relaxant that will make me drowsy rather than a pain relief pill, so will have to see how that works out. I have another weeks supply of the stronger pain relief tablet as well so fingers crossed.
Sounds like a pleasant day, and you’ve done a few things but have been sensible with it. You could get to like all the relaxing and have a change of lifestyle 😊 Out for a ride too. That’s a novelty in these days of lockdown. We were so used to taking all those things for granted!
ReplyDeleteReally like the first pic. She does get some good shots. Definitely advantages going out early in the mornings. I like the blurry sunset pic too.
The cats really are being nice to you. They obviously know you’re not in tip top condition at the moment. Plus Blue just likes to annoy Pandora by sitting in her place 😊
Nice flowers. You’ve done well for flowers lately. It must smell lovely in your rooms.
Good luck with the new medication. I look forward to an update tomorrow to see if it worked.
Yes, a pleasant day, and making sure I do three sets of the exercises a day now. Never feel like it, but need to stick with it.
ReplyDeleteWe will soon find out what tiers we are in. Numbers have come down considerably here but we have the feeling we will be kept in tier 3. I wonder if the government will back truck on the relaxation over Christmas, think it is a recipe for disaster myself if they leave things as planned! Coming towards the end of a very strange year!
I think if Boris has any sense he’ll definitely backtrack on the Christmas mingling, but would anyone actually take any notice?
