Morning walk with Tina

Another lovely morning and Tina joined me for a walk  sea front. I was actually aching a bit today as I did quite a bit of walking yesterday and have cut down on the pain killers. But we walked to Hucklebury’s and had a cup of hot chocolate. Took a couple of pictures before we got there.

I took another one while I sat on the bench and waited for Tina to bring the drinks.
We walked down to the Floral Hall and a bit further as Tina spotted that the Hug volunteers were working on the flower beds.
I have had a lazy afternoon resting my legs, watch some tv and dozed through some of it!
This evening I am listening to an audio book and had started some colouring which has now attracted Pandora! Ever the helpful cat!
I watch a lot of Agatha Christie programs on tv but have never read any, so have ordered a book of Marple short stories. That should arrive next week some time.

  1. Nice to have a bit of company for your walk today. Also nice to make use of any nice weather we have at the moment. They’re forecasting snow for me on New Year’s Day! Good way to start a year. The pics from the front are always nice, regardless of weather. I do like the ones you took into the sun today. I love shadows. Think I might like the hot chocolate too.
A nice sit in the chair and even a snooze is a good way to spend the afternoon after a morning of exercise. No point in overdoing it. Once you get your new book you’ll have even more reason to spend a bit of time there. Assuming Pandora doesn’t decide to sit on that too!

  2. It was good to have company on the walk, not walking today though as I think I have overdone it the last couple of days.
No snow for us today although quite a few areas did have some.
I think the book is coming tomorrow now which I am looking forward to.
