A bit of a walk and a finished jigsaw

I went out quite early and delivered a few local Christmas cards to some friends in the town.
I managed to get the illustrated letter framed, it had been smaller than the aperture but I remembered I had some rolls of sticky tape and had some which was a suitable colour, so in the end it framed up quite well.
This afternoon Darren and I finished the jigsaw. There is one piece missing in the photograph but Darren did eventually find it after crawling around on the floor!
This evening I went into the back garden and put the fox food down for the first time since the operation. I took it steadily and told Darren I was going outside and had the phone with me, better be safe than sorry!
I did manage to stay in the bed last night, the pain in my knee is not good but hopefully soon it will all be a distant memory and I will have relatively pain free nights. Ever the optimist......

  1. You’ll be putting Royal Mail out of business. Mind you, the amount of stamps you buy this time of year must help them.
The framed letter looks really good. The border worked out really well. You definitely have an eye for that sort of thing.
The jigsaw is annoying me. I can’t see where the bit is missing! I bet it’s really obvious when you point it out.
Good idea telling Darren about your garden excursion. He’d have definitely remembered you were out there by tomorrow morning 😊
Hope you manage a night in bed without too much hassle. Has to happen one day...doesn’t it?

  2. It’s in the middle of the smaller frilly edged house, the colour of the table is similar to the colour of the window!
I need to get back into doing some other things but at the moment the general tiredness is stopping me have a lot of inclination!
The tape did finish off the letter pretty well, I can usually improvise when necessary.

    1. See it now. It is a good match to the colour of the table.
