Christmas Eve

This morning I went into the town early, Tina and I both needed prescriptions collecting and I thought the chemist might close at lunch time. I also went and got a cake for a certain persons birthday! I know, I usually make them, but not this time! It began hailing as I walked home, it was very cold.
Just before lunch time the weather had cheered up a bit and I decided to walk down to the sea front. A bitingly cold wind so I kept my gloves on, even when taking photos! The sea was quite rough and very dark.

I went along to Hucklebury’s and had a hot chocolate and as I headed back the sun was on the sea, so a few mor pictures!

On the way home the sky looked quite dramatic.
Back at home Tina had put a nativity she had sent for onto the front lawn. We had got in prepared yesterday evening,
Some weeks ago I sent for some material from a place in America. Tina did get some as well but have just taken a photo of mine. They had a good sale and the postage was very reasonable.
Happy Christmas everyone.

  1. Two walks in a day, you are keen! Although going to buy a cake isn’t like you at all. A lot easier though isn’t it? 😊 The front was a bit up and down today with the weather. Could be two totally different days in the pics. I quite like the gloomy moody ones though. Some great clouds, specially the last one.
The nativity looks good. Hope the oiks don’t think it’d be fun to relocate it though! Is the material for a particular project, or just to good a bargain to turn down? I quite like the one at the bottom with the polar bear 😊 I’m sure you’ll find lots of uses for it.
Well it’s nearly Christmas, so put your feet up for a while tonight and conserve you energy for opening lots of pressies tomorrow 😊
Happy Christmas to you all. 🎄

  2. Will trying a response, haven’t managed for a couple of days.
It was like two different days by the sea today.
The material isn’t for any thing in particular, but it was a very good offer.
Every year I resolve to do more craft, one year I may succeed!
