Lazy, lazy day!

I didn’t sleep too well and haven’t been too inclined to be active today. Usually I am spurred on by the fact that I am wearing the Fitbit. I did go and get the weekend shopping first thing and then is was downhill all the way!
A couple of things to put on the blog though. Last night ai sat and coloured one of the pages in the new book that Tina and Darren bought form me. Still using my very nice American coloured pencils.
An advert for the Chill and Chat cafe was in the local paper, it kicks off on Tuesday. It does have the logo on, I think Tina will get them headed paper with it too.
Funny seeing the guy from On the Buses in that advert!
We had one self sewn sunflower that is down near the bird feeders. Not very tall and quite strong as it has stayed upright in the gale force winds. Took this pick when I was feeding the birds, hadn’t been up long!
I have started the Richard Osman book which is going to be an enjoyable read I think. Also started listening to Kidnapped last night on an audio cd.
May have more to show for the day tomorrow, but no promises.

  1. It does you good to have a slobby day doing nothing every now and then. Plus you have done a fair bit recently so I’m sure it was owing to you. You should do the same tomorrow and round off the weekend nicely.
I hope you’re going to the opening of the cafe on Tuesday to get your free tea and cake.
All sunflowers should be like that one. It’s plenty tall enough and it looks a good specimen. You should try saving seeds from it to see if you can replicate it next year.
Doesn’t matter if you have nothing to show for tomorrow as long as you enjoy your day and don’t overdo it.

  2. It is a very attractive sunflower, may try and harvest some of the seeds.
I don’t often get days where I really can’t be bothered, but it was one of those today!
I think I am helping Tina on Tuesday so may miss the opening of the cafe.
