Fair bit of gardening today

I haven’t been out at all today, well, out of the grounds. Have spent a fair bit of time in the gardens, worked in the front this morning and in the back this afternoon. A group of volunteers are coming to weed the path one day next week, some sort of national initiative so I have spent a lot of hours getting all the beds weeded and looking reasonable. I made a start on the back this afternoon as I have some bedding plants to get in and want to weed and hoe the ground before I plant anything the pictures on the camera last night were Milo, next doors cat in the night, and Blue in the daylight. I have actually tidied that area up today but didn’t take any photos.

There was a glimpse of a fox in one of the videos.
While I was working this morning this tiny insect landed on the garden cart. It only had a wingspan of about an inch, so was pleased with this picture taken with the phone,
I have finished the jigsaw and will pack it away again tonight, it was a nice one to do even though it did have some odd shaped pieces in it!
To add to my woes I have been getting a pain in my shoulder, well, more the should blade, so the shoulder support didn’t help. I had ordered a posture corrector that came today, that did seem to help a bit but was uncomfortable pulled into the armpit! I did wear it for a few hours though, a picture of the instructions rather than me in my underwear!
I watered the back garden this evening and took a picture of this gladioli when I had watered that bed!
Not planning on doing a great deal this evening. May watch an episode of Maisie Raine later.

  1. Hopefully the gardening today will help you sleep tonight, unless you’ve overdone it and keeps you awake all night!
Good to see the camera is capturing a few of your nighttime visitors again. I don’t know if it’s just for me but they don’t seem quite as sharp as they did with the old camera. Or maybe it’s just my eyes.
Are you keeping the jigsaws that you complete or are you taking them to the charity shop? That’s quite a nice picture on that one.
Your new support does look like it would be uncomfortable under your arms, but if it helps then I suppose it’s a small price to pay. I know your persevere with it.
Enjoy the evening, whatever you end up doing.

  2. Not aching too much at the moment so hopefully I won’t be kept awake by aches and pains any more than usual.
I doubt I will do the puzzles again so will probably take it to the charity shop or to a boot sale if we have a stall.
I will try the support again tomorrow.
