So a bit more walking than I had intended, made my way to the down ramp and luckily the cap hadn’t blown onto the beach so I got it back. Then up another ramp and got our drinks. Darren had come out of the car for a wander and was amused that I had been chasing my hat. Took a couple more pictures as we took our drinks to the car, the second one is out of focus a bit but ai think it adds to the effect!
Haven’t done a great deal more today. Did watch the Grand Prix with Darren and Tina and have started the puzzle I bought this morning before I went down to get dinner. Will put a couple of pictures of today’s buys.
I got the note book to write quotes that I like in for when I have the urge to do some calligraphy. Have already written three in there. Darren spotted the trinket box set which is very pretty and I will soon be able to fill them once I have found a space on the side for them!
Will finish off with photos of the puzzle progress and one of Pandora in yet another position on the back of my chair, such a funny but rather cute cat!
Not really car booting weather I suppose. Not so bad going for a look around but not good if you’re actually a booter having to set up in the wind and cold. But at least you still managed to find some bargains.
ReplyDeleteThink I’d have let the cap blow and just bought another, so much easier than chasing it! Glad you got I back though.
It does look a grey and windswept day by the sea. I like the out of focus pic too, very atmospheric.
Puzzle looks a nice one. Didn’t know LMS did parcels, thought they were just trains.
It is quite an enjoyable puzzle to get stuck into it.
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit disappointing with weather and amount of stuff to look at, but we were glad we went.
That 50p cap was a boot sale bargain and I really like it,
