Short and sweet, maybe

My day has been fairly average, I did some household chores this morning and then went out into the front garden for an hour or so. Didn’t take pictures but I weeded a bed behind the front wall and moved some plants into it as all it had before was weeds! Then I started down the side bed that I hadn’t touched for a while and primed some trees on the way,
My first photo this evening will be of some craft I started this afternoon. Thought I would plan out a drawn and lettered Christmas card. Even this trial took a fair while so don’t think I will be making too many to send out, May see about designing one and then getting it printed.
Just a couple more photos this evening, the last sunflower is ridiculously tall and has a very small flower, which is unusual. The other picture is a close up of the hydrangea I posted the other day.
Went to see Sarah and David this evening and heard about their trip last week.
Thinking of starting a jigsaw this evening,

  1. Sounds like you managed a fair bit in the garden in a shortish time. Hope you’ve not aggravated the knees, shoulders and other bits too much!
I do like your Christmas card. Your trouble is that you have way too many friends you send cards to, so if they’re all going to be handmade you better get going in ernest now....on the other hand getting it printed sounds a much better plan.
That sunflower is a bit odd. Never seen one that tall with such a small head. Easier for it to stay upright I suppose.
Nice to finish off the day with a trip out to see friends.
By the way, I hope hope you ate all your liver up tonight in readiness for tomorrow 😊

Not a bad day and I like the idea of the card so will see what I can sort out.
