Last night I started a jigsaw puzzle, just doing 500 piece ones now, quicker and take up less room. I think I was bought this one to do while I was recovering from surgery!
I had filled a lot of bags of garden rubbish, a couple of very big ones, so this morning Tina and I went to the tip, we took some other stuff as well. I gathered everything up and got it near the car. The garden bin was full and goes out this evening, but the stuff we had would have more than filled it and I. Have plenty of clearing and pruning still to do. Took this picture while I was out there, the bee is out of focus but the plant is pretty attractive so will post it anyway,
This afternoon we were moving furniture around in Tina’s office so that we could lay the lovely carpet that she bought at the last auction we went to.
I got a shoulder support today, thought I had taken a photo but obviously not, have taken it off now so maybe tomorrow! Tina drove me to the Floral Hall where I made the blood donation and I took a slow walk home along the sea front.
That new artwork was just by the Floral Hall.
The starlings were having a lovely bath near the new leisure centre!
Pandora still has her liking for chair backs, in the dining room this time!
Took a couple of pictures of the sky, the second one a bit arty, while we were waiting for the celebration take away!
Back to the puzzle now!
Well done! You got there in the end. I know you’ve had problems with the doning recently but you’ve persevered and it’s paid off. Good pic to show it off too 😊
ReplyDeleteSounds like you’ve kept busy again doing various jobs. Was talking to Kim the other day and she goes to the tip quite often. She said she has to book timed appointments to go there now! Do you have to do that?
Like the Revs new carpet. Looks very plush for an office. Looks very soft too, so the cats will probably like snoozing on that instead of chair backs.
Hope the new shoulder support helps. You’ll soon have most parts of your body supported 😊
Love the seagull artwork.
Should think the puzzle is done now.
Yes, a good day especially because of the successful donation.
ReplyDeleteQuite a varied day. I liked the full artwork too, very big and very appropriate,
Cats do like the carpet, it is nice and soft.
The puzzle isn’t even half done!
