I got several 50p bargains, including the very fancy bag!
All thirty of the cards were still in the box and six different images.
The other two items we about a fiver for the two, the leg exerciser is new and the marquetry unopened.
I did about an hour in the front garden this afternoon, putting in a few plants and weeding the back of the large bed.
I have decided I will keep the jigsaw and have put a first coat of varnish on it, thinking to put paper underneath it before I applied the varnish!
We had dinner at one today so that Tina could set off on her long drive to Scotland. She stopped to take a picture of lovely scenery on the way and then sent a picture of the very generous welcome pack at the accommodation.
Going to try a new comedy drama on tv a bit later.
Glad you got out to the boot sale. Love the sign 😀 Some good bargains too. Your 50p pile looks very good. The cards are perfect for you. I’ve seen those small pedal thingies and they’re not cheap for the better ones. Yours looks like it’s well built. I’m really looking forward to seeing the results of the marquetry when you find time to do it. No finger slicing accidents I hope!
ReplyDeleteGlad you decided to keep the jigsaw. It did take a bit of putting together and it’s a nice pic, so it would have been a shame to break it up. Should look good when it’s hanging.
Scotland is a long old drive, but I know the Rev doesn’t hang around. Not known for being light footed on the pedals 😊 Lovely welcome pack. I’d be having a feast this evening if I were her.
Yes, pleased we went today, we both enjoy it once we are there and usually find something worth having,
ReplyDeleteGood to get a bit of gardening done, little by little I will get there.
Good that Tina is there safely and can have a break.
