I also started trying to patch a pair of Darren’s overalls, quite a challenge, more of that later!
This morning I made some cheese scones as Tina had a bring and share lunch at church. Didn’t use any Mary Berry tips this time so they turned out fine!
A couple of Pandora silhouette shots, she was exploring the fence leading to the front garden.
I also carried on with the repair of the overalls. It was a nightmare as I have a basic machine and these are heavy overalls complete with reflective strips. At one point I got it completely trapped and getting to the seat of the trousers was proving difficult, luckily I do an a free arm on the machine. I had been going to zigzag all over but in the end put another patch on the outside!
This afternoon I decided to try and walk to the sea. It was a challenge today but I got there so nice to see the sea,
This next one was over zoomed really as I was trying to get the cloud formation with the phone.
The next on is the view along the north coast, haven’t been that far for a while.
I found a dry bench for a rest and liked the sky!
This next photo does have a boat if you look closely enough!
A couple more of the sea as the sun came out and it looked completely different.
After dinner we watched Throw Down and Darren was home in time to watch Vera with us.
You must be sick of the sight of buttons by now! Pretty colours though. Hopefully you’ll have enough, but it looks like you’ve got a few left in the bag just in case.
ReplyDeleteDarren made a real mess of the overalls! Good job mum has a sewing machine and a lot of patience 😊
The scones look nice. Makes a change to have square ones too. Bet they went down well. Lots of jobs for others today. You’re so multitalented you make a rod for your own back 😊
Glad you got down to the sea for a while. Some nice pics too. I really like the one with the shadows cast on the beach when the sun came out. Hopefully the walking won’t result in a rough night tonight.
I did see the boat by the way 😊
I was uncomfortable while I was out walking but the pain has reduced since I have been home. It was good to get to the sea as I don’t manage it so often these days.
ReplyDeleteThe square cutter means less overs to make the next batch.
