Will start with sunset pictures for a change!

This morning Darren and I started a late spring clean, him in the garden and me indoors. Had a phone call from Donna at the studio to ask if I could cover for a while as she had to go to an appointment and Sandy had a man coming to check the gas boiler this afternoon. Sandy did come and collect me to save too much walking, she also said she would bring me home again after the gas man had been. She handed me a lump of clay when I arrived and said I could make some hedgehogs if I felt like it! I did make some for them to sell but also made a Nessie for me!
These will have to dry for a week or so before they can be biscuit fired. The book vase was ready to come out of the kiln and I think it is very unusual.

Sandy came back and as we left for my ride home she suggested we go to Oliver's Mount for a cuppa. The cafe there was actually closed for a wedding reception but we did go and look at the view before we left.
Although it turned into a lovely day it was misty out at sea. We took pictures of each other while we were there.

Sandy then dropped me off at home so that she could go home to get ready as she is going out for a meal tonight.
Not got anything planned for this evening, may watch some more Line of Duty.

  1. Lovely sunset! But when aren't they?
Spring cleaning is ok, but shop sitting and tea and cake is a much better option :-)
The book vase looks gorgeous. I really do like that. Be interesting to see what it looks like with flowers in it.
