I haven't taken a single photo today, yet, very unusual. But can start with the changing skies yesterday evening.

This morning I was up just after six and fed the younger cats and let them out. Then Darren and I left at about 7 am to go off to the boot sale and set up a stall. We had a good time there, the weather was kind and we shifted a lot of stuff, much at knock down prices, but the main aim was to reduce the amount of stuff we have in the house, and making a bit of money on it was a bonus. We had our sausage bap and cuppa for breakfast as usual and both had a look around but neither of us bought anything. We dropped most of the left over stuff off at the Mind charity shop which opens on a Sunday, so we just brought a cast full of stuff home.
This afternoon I have tidied up a bit and put the table, chair and airer away and counted the takings. We got the Englebert Humperdinck cd at Sainsbury's yesterday so I have listened to both discs. Lots of classics, not all readily associated with him but all good versions.
We have had dinner and now I am looking forward to the return of Inspector George Gently, the last two ever episodes this series. :(

  1. Love the second picture. The sky combined with the silhouetted foreground is a very good capture. Can't believe you'll go a whole day without taking a picture though, you're bound to take a few this evening.
Sounds like a good day. A boot sale in nice weather is quite enjoyable, and actually selling some of the stuff is always a bonus. Still don't think the one at VH has started this year yet, although I didn't go that way this morning. I'll try it again next week.
Enjoy George Gently tonight. It's always sad when they stop making a good series.

  2. That second one did turn out well and managed to avoid the chimneys! My cheeks are tingling, was quite hot in the sun! I have just looked and this final series of GG is a two parter so will be left in the air tonight no doubt.
