Yesterday evening I set up the lovely new Teasmade and doesn't it look swish!
Had fun and games with the cats last night, Blue can still get her paws under the door to try and attract Charlie. They have been out quite a lot today so I hope they will sleep better tonight! But on the bright side the Teasmade worked and I had a great cup of tea in bed! It was a bit drizzly this morning but Darren and I decided to still go to the boot sale.  It wasn't so busy today and I managed to get round all of it, barefoot of course! The grass was wet but it wasn't muddy. I got some extendable tools which will be great for using in the front garden, they will be able to stay in the porch.
I also got some baking tins that fit together to make a roaster which is quite novel. This afternoon, before getting dinner, I have been doing more fiddly cutting and sticking. You really wouldn't believe how long this batch have taken. Will start making them into cards this evening.
Looks like it is trying to rain again, but the wind seems to have dropped a bit, thankfully.

  1. The Teasmaid looks great, and a bit more modern looking than the one I had donkeys years ago! I like the way the tray sits on top for the cup and the milk. Only one thing missing as far as I can see, and that's the chocolate biscuits to have with your tea in the morning!
Doing the boot sale barefoot sounds like fun. I though it would be muddy, which would make it even better. Did you get very cold feet?
That cutting out does look extremely fiddly. You do set yourself some tasks! They'll look really nice when you get them finished though, so worth the effort.

    1. My feet were a bit cold by the time I got back to the car, but nothing I can't handle! Took plastic bags in case my feet were muddy but didn't need them. Looking forward to tea in the morning.
