I have been trying to cut the painkillers but today the pain was really bad so have now decided to up them again and see if it settles down a bit. I caught the bus to the Sea Life Centre, it goes from the end of the road. It was a grey morning, the weather did brighten up this afternoon.
The Sea Life Centre was fairly quiet which was good. I love the jellyfish.
The penguins are always fun.
The otters, one of the main reasons I like to go, were behind dirty glass most of the time, and I am not tall enough to take pictures over it. but did manage to get a reasonable shopt from a different angle.
This seal looked like it had an itch, it was rolling about on the rocks!
I also really like to see the sea horses.
These little turtles need a 'let me out' sign!!
As I was walking back to the bus stop I spotted this dear little bird down by the rocks.
I caught the bus back and have done a bit of ironing and sorting, but did put my feet up and watched a couple of episodes of House. I also finished off the eight cards that were work in progress. Pain seems to be easing a bit, but sometimes hard to tell unless I try walking outside.
Scarborough looks a bit misty in those photos, but still nice. The Sealife centre is a great place to spend an hour or so, specially if you're a member. I know the otters are your favourite, but I think the penguins are really cute and amusing, and the seahorses are odd things, but fascinating to watch.
ReplyDeleteHaving to take so many painkillers isn't good, but if it cuts the pain a bit then it's worth it. Maybe one day soon the doctor will find a magic cure!
You never know, will try and remain optimistic on that one! I haven;t used my pass much, but it is worth getting.
