There have been a lot of geese flying over recently, must be migration time I think. I did get the camera out yesterday evening, not in complete focus, but at least I did catch them. One of my favourite sights and sounds.
Charlie has now taken to settling on my little pink chair, although he is still out at the moment.
I went into town on the bus and had my hair coloured and cut, she didn't blow dry it today which suited me as I don't even have a hair dryer at home. I was going to make my way home when Sandy got in touch and as she is back driving now, but not at work, she picked me up for a trip out. We did her mum's shopping first and then went to Filey, had a bit of lunch and then looked round some really great crafty and antique type shops. Took a couple of pictures of interesting things.
We had an ice cream on the front and looked at the sea.
Then Sandy drove up to the cliff top, lovely sitting there, although we stayed in the car because it was really hot today.
Then Sandy drove to Bridlington and we had a cup of tea there. I have seen the single teapot/cup sets quite a lot, but never the great little milk/sugar sets. They wouldn't sell me one because they can't get hold of them any more!
A quick picture of Bridlington.
And the side of a funky van.....
I think the shot of the geese is good. Nice sky with it which always helps. Looks like a nice trip out for you, and some good ideas for item for you to make, not that you need more things to do, but you never know. You'll be well travelled this week by the time you've seen Angie too. Hopefully you'll get another nice day for that.
ReplyDeleteI was really pleased to get a picture of the geese. It was an unexpected outing which is always good.
