The front garden has been bugging me for a bit, as it really was in need of attention. So does the back for that matter, in fact probably more in need, but I don't think I can manage to do much to it at the moment as it entails climbing on walls and clambering around! There was a frog hopping around on the front lawn again so I made sure I stomped about to get any others moving out of the way! I only used shears on the lawn, but did a lot of other pruning/tidying.
Before and after, I know, not a big difference but the garden waste bin said different!
I did clean up the path and the wall that faces the street, so it is quite a lot better. Had a pretty lazy afternoon, Some decoupage sheets I had ordered arrived today, I cut one out and when I went to glue it, had ordered the wrong one and had glue everywhere but where it should be! I have ordered the right stuff now, I think.Tina and Darren took Blue to the vets this morning for her operation and then went off to collect Tina's new car. A different blue and called Ultra due to the number plate!
We went to Morrison's in the new car, had a bit to eat and got shopping for the weekend and then collected Blue on the way home. Any thoughts that I may have had that she would be a bit subdued tonight were soon forgotten, she was leaping about trying to catch flies as soon as she was home! She was nibbling at the stitches so she now has the collar on which has made her a less than happy kitty.
More Paralympics this evening I think. Eleven medals yesterday, what a fantastic first day.
It's suits surprising what a difference a bit of cutting and tidying, or a lot come to that, makes. It looks so much better in the after photo. You'll have to get Darren into the back garden under your guidance to get it sorted. He's a big strong lad :-)
ReplyDeleteThe new car looks very nice. I thought ultra high frequency as soon as I saw it before seeing your comment. I assume Tine thought the same?
Awww, she does look a sad kitty.......not for long though I bet, she'll soon be causing mayhem :-)
Blue really doesn't like the collar, she seems as right as rain apart from that. I think the cats are making a fuss of 'mum' at the moment.Yes, I think Tia was allowed to pick her number plate.
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers and great they went through the letter box, where did Anya buy them. Might use the company. Your garden also looks good, you do work hard out there. The next people won't have to do a thing other than keep,it tidy. The sky photos are amazing well done. Xx
ReplyDeleteWill send you the details of the flower company. That reedy plant that filled the front garden when we arrived still keeps popping up, but they are quite easy to removed when they are small. x
