Thought I would take a picture of the lovely flowers that Tina got for me on Friday, still looking lovely.
Isobel and I made a dinosaur puzzle while we were at the caravan last week, it kept falling apart so I said I would stick it together for her. I got some super glue and now it seems as if it will survive.
I went to the doctors this morning but no joy with getting an Xray. But she has said she will refer me to an orthopaedic surgeon but needs the report from the physio to back up the referral. I have phoned and asked then to do that so fingers crossed. The doctor said that I may need a cortisone injection which they would not do at the surgery as it can rupture the tendon if not done correctly. Or it could require surgery, so now it is a waiting game. My friend Angie arrived this afternoon, she came and saw where I now live and the we went and had a gentle stroll in the park.
And a bit of the glen.
We sat on the chairs near the cafe for a while (they were closing so we didn't have a drink) I notinced these ducks diving over and over and making circles on the surface of the water.
Angie's parents collected her to take her to the hotel at about 6 pm, we are going to Whitby tomorrow. When I got in Darren had collected the painting that Isobel and I did at the studio on Friday.
I will get Isobel's sent off to her at the end of the week along with her dinosaur.
Lovely flowers. You'd miss not having any now, you've been spoiled with them lately.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you'll soon be getting a bit closer to getting something done with the ankle. Injections would certainly be preferable to surgery.
It was of Angie to visit, and a trip to Whitby tomorrow will be nice too. Make sure you have fish and chips.
The ceramics turned out well, both yours and Isobels. It'll be fun packaging them along with the dinosaur though!
They are parcelled up but probably won't be sent off until Friday. Fish and chips are on the menu tomorrow, Angie's dad has a particular pace in mind I think.
