A fairly short entry today. Haven't done a great deal apart from go to the boot sale with Darren, watch Paralympics and get dinner. Off out tonight to see The Simon and Garfunkel Story with Sandy at the Spa Theatre. I took a couple more sky pictures last night, I like the pink hues.

I managed to walk along a couple of aisles at the boot sale this morning. Bought a Maya Angelou book and also a pack on vintage ribbons which had not even been opened.
There were a large number of ribbons in the pack, a surprising number in fact.
A great day at the Paralympics, golds a plenty in the rowing and the velodrome. I have been enjoying the games so much and the stories of the athletes challenges are really inspiring.

  1. That looks a very good bargain from the boot sale. They are fun to go to, as long as you have the willpower not to buy loads of clutter, and of course your one does very good sausage sarnies :-)
Hope you had a good time at the show, and get to see more medals won when you get home.

  3. We complain about our own little health problems but when you see and read about some of thes Paralympians they put us to shame. Some of the things they have overcome is amazing.
