Stayed up until gone midnight, Tina and I watched Johnie Peacock defend his Paralympic title, what a great young man. This morning I caught the but to town, had a few things to get and wanted to get some basic card making supplies as I have decided to make my Christmas cards again this year.
I won't be able to do a lot more until the correct glue arrives. I caught the bus home as well as the knee and ankle could be better, and caught up with the Paralympic news. I really love the flowers that arrive in a box that will fit through a letter box, they are opening up and are just delightful.
I have spent quite a bit of the afternoon making meals for Darren and Tina to put in the freezer, they both have a very busy couple of weeks now. Also made a few simple buns and got dinner, so was a little hot and bothered but a few meals in take away boxes now. The sky has been fab again tonight, I don't think I will ever tire of seeing the wonderful skies. Better make the most of it, doubt I will have such a good view when we move.

I may even got a good shot of the geese one day, but they are gone almost before I can grab the camera!

More Paralympics tonight and hopefully more medals.

  1. Bit of a preview for anyone looking, they'll be able to see what sort of Christmas card they'll be getting :-) You have way too much time on your hands, or should have if you didn't have so many different things to do.
The flowers are looking good. Amazing to think they fitted through the letterbox. Now if cakes, scones etc did the same, I'd get you to send me food parcels :-)
Those skies really are beautiful. I'd live there just to be able to see them nearly every night. I think the first geese shot is really nice.

  2. Yes, the skies here are wonderful, I have enjoyed them so much. Well, a sort of preview with the cards, but I have lots of different decoupage sheets.
