Winter is on the way!

We had a slight smattering of snow to welcome us this morning. A light fall which has mostly thawed during the day.
I have been on my feet a bit more today and did take the caddy waste up to the garden bin which is at the top of the front garden. The first time Inave walked outside for a few days now.
Just a little layer of snow,
I have pottered a bit indoors and have spent some time on the jigsaw. Or I should say I attempted to. Pandora wouldn’t leave me lone this morning and this afternoon Blue took up position on the puzzle!
Jean came round for a while this afternoon and we had a cuppa and a natter. Took a pic of the sky from my sitting room. Slightly out of focus but I think that actually enhances it!

Did make a start on parcel wrapping this evening as the eco paper I ordered arrived yesterday!
Will try to get out and feed the birds tomorrow.

  1. Before you know it that gentle smattering will be a fully fledged snowdrift. I’ll definitely be staying in then!
You didn’t pick the best day to venture out, with all the snow and ice laying around. No accidents, please.
Bet you’re really pleased to be confined to the house so you can spend more time on that jigsaw 😂 Sounds like the cats have ganged up to save you from it!
At least you had a visitor for a while, made a bit of a change I would think. Hopefully you’ll be out and about on your usual rounds before too long.
I like that pic, as it looks like a really old Polaroid. I’d crop it to lose the light though.
Enjoy the rest of the evening and maybe you will get out tomorrow 🤞🤞

  2. A chilly day and I think the temperature is due to drop a lot tonight.
I am hoping to get out a bit tomorrow, but will take it steady and see how it goes.
The cats are definitely on a mission, as if it isn’t gong to take long enough to do the puzzle anyway.
