Glue and carols!

We did head off to the boot sale but nothing was happening, so no more now until February we think. So we drove to the sea front to have breakfast at Lily’s and arrived such after the sun hd risen. So a couple of pics.
Had my usual Face time callwithAnya and made some phone calls then did a few chores before getting on with dinner. We ate early today as Tina had four services one being at 6 pm. I had phoned Sal and Carol as Darren and I both needed haircuts. They said they could come today and we had just about finished eating when they arrived! We were pleased as usual, afterwards I went out to top up the bird feeders.
I ordered some puzzle glue and have now done a couple of coats on the Turner jigsaw. It implies you only need one but I have done two already, nd although it is stuck is doesn’t see that secure yet.
This evening I went along to the 6pm Carol service as I won’t be going to midnight mass this year. Lots of carols and some readings so a good service.
The knee has been a bit twingy today, but Idid do more walking that’s quite a while yesterday.
Going up to the pottery painting studio tomorrow for a while.

  1. Not too long to wait for more boot sales. Hopefully you’ll still both pop out for your Sunday morning breakfast though. It’s become a regular routine for you both. Nice sunrise pics.
You have been quite busy today then. I didn’t know you could buy glue specifically for puzzles. I hope it all stays together when you hang it, specially after all the work that went into it!
It’ll be a bit different for you at Christmas this year. I bet you’re looking forward to it. I’m looking forward to seeing you and the Rev………and getting a cake 😂
Hope the leg doesn’t worse than twingy.
Enjoy a bit of pottery painting tomorrow.

  2. We like the sales but they were getting a bit sparse and the field muddy, and out usual eating hut has been closed. Breakfast at Lily’s is always good.
I think the puzzle could do with one more cot, but it is looking good.
Yes, really looking forward the Christmas way this year.
