After the shopping was packed away I went to see Bel for an hour, using my new waterproof jacket. We had a chat and cuppa. She was telling mr about the latest decoration her nephew made for her. A tree with baubles this time, she kept last years ones on show all year.
From there I walked along to the church as it was open for a couple of hours for people to see the Christmas trees. I was their first visitor as the weather was horrid, but a few more did arrive before I left. After lunch I decided to give walking to Tesco a try. I wanted to get a couple of bit so that I can get the cakes separated. I got there okay and called and had a chat with Sher on the way back.
A white Christmas cactus flower has opened, very pretty.
The museum had an event on so went with Tina to support it. Carol singing outside and a group playing inside. I bought a couple of bits.
Strictly semi final tonight.
Well the jigsaw certainly looks a bit better than it did originally, but I know it’s very deceiving 😊 Another few days should see the back of it.
ReplyDeleteI like the wooden ornaments. Really nice.
Glad a few people at least turned up to look at the Christmas trees.
What with Christmas trees, white Christmas cacti and all your card writing, it’s definitely getting close to Christmas 😊
Was the group good at the museum? They looks as though they should be, but looks can be deceiving 😊
Glad you managed to get out a bit more today. Hopefully tomorrow will be the same for you.
Enjoy Strictly.
Yes, about a bit more, fingers crossed that doesn’t backfire.
ReplyDeleteStrictly is good.
