We had a bit of a wander at Blue Diamond, which was Can Hague garden centre. It is fabulous now, lots of tempting stuff, and of course some photo ops!
I had asked them to reserve a table and they even put crackers on it. Tina and I went and sat there and messaged Mike and aAnya to let them know where we were.
Isobel came with Anya so a nice little group of us.
We had to wait a while for the food but it was very good when it came and plenty of it.
Then back to Anya’s and Tina headed off once we had unloaded the car. Hadn’t been back long when we were out taking pictures of rainbow clouds! My photos, first three I think, didn’t really pick up the colours.
Isobel’s were much better!
We had never seen anything like it, the photos don’t do the colours justice.
Mustn’t forget Mike opening his pre Christmas gift!
We played some simple video games, the family know they are not really my thing, but it was fun. And I have a new best friend!
A lovely start to my trip.
Good to see you got the obligatory pic of the bridge on the way down 😊 No doubt there’ll be one on the way back too. The Rev did well to drive you down and go back as well. She said the trip down wasn’t too bad, so I hope her journey back was a good one too.
ReplyDeleteTrust you to find things to be photographed on in the garden centre. I have to say they had some great stuff in there. I may have to pay another visit, if only to partake of the great food. Me meal was very filling, they certainly don’t skimp on portion sizes.
The clouds do look amazing. I saw them on the news the other night. Apparently they are much higher in the atmosphere than our normal cloud and produce those lovely colours and shapes. Glad you managed to get some pics of them.
The t shirt was brilliant, I love it, thanks. Perfect for me 😂
Enjoy your time with Anya and family, and your new friend. Should be a great Christmas.
A great journey and good day, the sky was amazing and a bonus. Been busy again so all good at the moment.
