Pretty good day

I was at the dentist just before 8.30 am and no one else was waiting. They don’t unlock the door before opening time. No one else was waiting which I thought was a good sign, but the receptionist said I couldn’t be seen today. Thankfully she had an appointment on Friday and I can manage until then as it is not painful at the moment, just a bit of a nuisance. I phoned Angela when I came out as she had phoned last night to see if I wanted to go for breakfast and I had declined. She hadn’t made other plans so we did go to the garden centre, had a nice breakfast , chat, bit of a look round and then a coffee. I got some more soft top socks as some of mine are beginning to ride down now as they have become so stretched. I started adding some detail to the decorations aI made, bold rather than pretty cakes this time!

Tina had ordered a new table lamp for the dining room with daylight effect. I think it will help with the jigsaw.

I went out into the garden for a while, up behind the wall in the front garden. Some large branches had come down so that I couldn’t access the path I laid to get to the garden bin. There were also many leaves making it dangerous. I enjoyed getting physical for a while but didn’t overdo it, filled the garden bin, which will be emptied tomorrow..

I got most the pieces of the puzzle together on one area, and tried to differentiate shape and tone a bit. Doesn’t seem to be helping much!

I added detail to a few mor decorations, may start getting them onto the cakes tomorrow.

Quiet evening, don’t want to over tax the knee, or my eyes with the puzzle!
