Bel was fine, she had a present for me to collect. I took her cake over at the weekend.
I spent sometime in the garden, sorted out all the bird food so that Tina can find everything when she feeds them. I also spent awhile collecting some of the branches and twigs still littering the lawn.
Nothing much to tell about the rest of the day as I was doing final packing and trying to leave my rooms relatively tidy. I decided to phone the hospital and see if they could give me any idea when my surgery my take place. A very nice lady put me on hold after taking my details and when she returned said she was going to book me in for surgery in March. This is not confirmed yet, but I am feeling positive.
Really looking forward to my Christmas break and catching up with friends and family.
Shame the sale wasn’t on, but it probably saved you spending lots of money 😊 The displays look very colourful. I like the old tractor.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you’ve been very organised and are fully ready for your little trip down this way. It’ll be a nice change for you to have Christmas in this neck of the woods for a change.
Great news about the operation. Fingers crossed it gets confirmed soon and then goes ahead 🤞
What with a Christmas break and a possibility operation things are definitely on the up for you 😊
See you tomorrow.
Yes, all looking good at the moment, if the leg manages not to play up while I am away that will be the cherry on the cake!
ReplyDeleteThey always do pretty impressive displays at Sigglesthorne, but know how to charge as well!
