I told Darren I would walk to the front and meet him there for breakfast at Lily’s. The sun had risen but the sky was still lovely.
I set about making decorations for the cakes before getting dinner, hoping it will be enough!
This afternoon I spent about three hours painting the gonk for Jean. Looks quite pale but should be quite colourful when fired. I did do three coats of paint.
Strictly results show tonight, but not a lot else to watch I think.
Yesterday evening I was flossing my teeth and a small piece of filling fell out of the tooth that I have mentioned to the dentist twice now. Will have to go there at opening time and see if I can see my dentist, who only works on Mondays and Wednesdays, then not at all in the school holidays! So fingers crossed on that one,
Wow! Some really great pics on here this evening. The skies are beautiful. I wish I lived by the sea.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a lot of decorations. I’m sure there’ll be plenty there, and if not then don’t put so many on 😄
I’m sure the gonk will be fine when it’s fired. I still can’t get my head around the colours. It’d just be pot luck for me!
I hope you can get in to see your dentist. I know you’ve mentioned it to them before when you’ve been. They don’t seem to bother much these days. They get paid way too much for doing next to nothing! Good luck.
The skies are a bonus living here, I never tire of them.
ReplyDeleteMay get the decks onto cakes today, or make a start. Depends how long I am at the dentist!
The gonk may not get fired this year, so will hopefully be a nice surprise.
