When I got home I snapped the mahonia which is looking lovely, and will soon smell really lovely as well.
I went to Flemingate with Tina, we had lunch and then visited the refill shop as ours has closed now. We did look in some other shops, dodging the increasingly cold rain!
I have managed to do quite a bit more to the jigsaw, will try and ignore the fact that nearly all the pieces left are muddy green grey!
The Hornsea Collective have had a craft sale in the parish hall with lots of the local artisans turning out. There were a few people on there, but the weather is still awful. I bought a couple of bits and one lady is going to make up a sample of a natural pin relief for me. Sher’s mum gave me the macrame gonk. The little sheep is very cute, and it will be nice to use the natural soap.
I have a delivery coming tomorrow, so I am going to visit Bel on Saturday as she doesn’t want to be coming out to see me with the weather as it is at the moment. Jean will come here as usual as Terry drives here.
I’ve not written a single card yet ☹️ I’m terrible.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does look bleak by the sea, but it’s been pretty bleak where I’ve been today too. At least I was indoors.
You’ve done a few things today. The puzzle is coming on in leaps and bounds. You’d think it would be easy from that stage, but I know it’s deceiving! I don’t think you’re going to be much longer though.
Not really weather for people to turn out for a craft sale. Good job you always support these things 😊 I like the sheep too, and I bet the soap will be nice to use.
I hope the weather clears up a bit before Saturday so you can go visiting without getting soaked!
Into wrapping now, quite organised really!
ReplyDeleteIt was quite a full day,m quieter tomorrow as I have to be around for a delivery!
Not really looking forward to the latter parts of the puzzle, but I will keep going.
