I went to the shop before the shopping was delivered and then out to visit Sarah and David after the delivery. Sarah had been poorly and I know they would want to know how the appointment went yesterday. After that I did walk down to the park and found the Hornsea Collective marquee. Very damp day but a few people milling about,
A robing visited the Bird Buddy before I was up, a few more later.
The carnival parade did go ahead, I took photos from the spare room, so had charged the camera.
I did get some washing done today and cleaned up a lovely indoor bench we had as Jean fell in love with it so we are giving it to her.
We won’t go to the boot sale tomorrow as heavy rain is forecast, but will go to Lily’s for breakfast and then drop the bench off a Jeans.

ReplyDeleteWhat a shame it was such a miserable day for the carnival, specially after all the nice weather we were having earlier on. They did well continuing with the parade in the wet. I only hope they managed to collect plenty of money in their buckets. Probably half full of water 😊
Sounds like a good idea to give booting a miss tomorrow. It’ll be a bit like a quagmire I should think. On the bright side though you’ve not had to drag the hosepipe around!
