When I was out feeding the birds I took a photo of the plant Tina was given that was on its last legs indoors but now obviously loving being in the walled garden,
I went for a ride into Hull with Tina as she had a dental appointment and then we stopped to look at a craft area in a garden centre on the way home. There was an indoor pond with some big fish!
I mustered enough energy to water the gardens this evening, t one point is was drizzling a bit but didn’t actually rain!
Got a better picture of the cordiline flowers but they have gone over a bit now.
Tina and I couldn’t believe it when the hostas flowered last year. Neither of us have had hostas last long enough but they are in a dry re here so not being eaten by snails and slugs!
Back to the book now.
Not quite, forgot the sea holly, so many bees on there this evening.
I’ve never known a cat that spends so much time on a lap! It knows where it’s comfy and well off.
ReplyDeleteThe plant in the walled garden is a very colourful one. You do seem to have the knack of bringing back plants from near death 😊
Glad your whole day wasn’t spent at home as it’s always nice to get out somewhere. Plus a ride with Tina usually involves a giggle.
It really is a shame we’re not getting a bit more rain at the moment. As soon as your leg is feeling a bit better it’ll throw it down every day and you won’t need to drag the hosepipe around 😄
The bees definitely like the sea holly. 🐝
Must be a good book.
It is a very good book. If I don’t finish it tonight I will tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThis area seems to be missing the rain quite regularly, I think there is supposed to be a possibility of a shower tomorrow, but I won’t hold my breath,
It’s the way Pandora sprawls out that amuses me, she loves to lie on me at full stretch!
