Busy but not active day

I phoned the surgery at 8.30 am in the hope of getting an appointment to help get the pin under control. Got through quickly and mad an appointment to see Dr Alabi who had made my referral. Tina drove me to the surgery and he was not going to raise the pills so prescribed a short course of Narproxin along with one to protect my stomach, so we will see how that goes. After that I pottered indoors for a while. Then Tin and I went to Pascoes on the Lake, a very nice restaurant but the service wasn’t all it could have been today. We had to sit outside so. Photo from where I was sitting and then one I took to get a better view.
Then we went to a garage in Long Riston that had a formula one car and we’re raining money for a local charity. The guy took a photo of us with it and then a couple of shots by me and some close ups from Tina as she wanted to show Darren.
We called in at a farm shop on the way back and Tina got stocked up with lots of nice sausages and burgers.
I went down to see if my new prescription was ready so that I can get started on the new ones. Then I watered the trees and pots in the walled garden with watering cans. I will water the gardens with the hose when the sun has gone down. Blue was comfy on one of the chairs.
This plant has been on deaths door a couple of time but at the moment has produced flowers.
Will watch a bit to the Andy Murray match before watering the gardens,

  1. Good news about the pills. Hopefully they’ll kick in quick and help a bit. 🤞
Judging by the photos it doesn’t look the sort of day you want to be sitting out to eat, specially if they were a bit slow! Hopefully the food made it worthwhile?
Nice race car. I bet you both enjoyed that. Poor Darren missed out, but at least got some pics via the Rev.
Maybe it’ll rain before the sun goes down so you won’t need to water………then again.
    Enjoy the Andy Murray match.

  2. The food wa okay when it arrived, the drinks were ordered before the meal and eventually turned up when we had almost finished eating! They were busy but pretty disorganised!
It was good to see the car, and Tina particularly liked it because it was Blue.
Not sure how Andy will do but two Brits are through to the next round.
