Garden bursting into life!

Back home, went to the shop and did some washing. Leg not great again today but I have received an appointment to see a consultant at the end of the month. I went down to Sarah and David’s as they had an open house to celebrate David’s 80th birthday which is tomorrow.
I fed the birds earlier and later on went round the garden taking some pictures. The first one is wild sweet peas, the sunflowers are doing well, a couple are as tall as me now! The flower on the cordiline are surprisingly small and a bit like bananas!
Tina got a new hose for the back garden so I used it this evening and used cans for the walled garden and tubs out the front.
Tired and achey now so watching tv complete with a cat on my lap!

  1. Glad to hear you had an easyish day today. Also great news that the appointment has come through for the consultant. You are extremely lucky when it comes to hospital appointments as you never seem to have to wait too long. Hopefully he’ll put you through to get it sorted and you won’t have to wait too long for that either 🤞
The flowers are all looking good now. All that colour definitely makes the effort worthwhile. I can’t believe how big those sunflowers are now! I hope they all manage to stay upright. The birds will enjoy the seeds, either straight off the plant, or when you collect them later. The poppies look great. Shame they’re the papery petal type that don’t last as well. Still pretty to look at though.
A new hose should help a bit. It’ll save you lugging the old one back and forth in the wheelbarrow!
Hope you find something decent for you and Pandora to watch 😊

  2. The weeds have grown as well, but if I get to them soon I may just keep ahead! The sunflowers have stayed upright so far so fingers crossed the majority will flower.
Pandora has settled on mother chair now so I can make drink.
