Seaside part 2

Ah, turned the iPad off and on again and now we seem to be  and running. So, let’s see if the photo of the bus shelter will appear!
After the post office I went up to say hello to the see and of course take pictures.

The next couple of photos were of the changing light and one with the sharp horizon and diffused by the light. Just thought it made for different shots.

One of the chemists had quite a tasteful jubilee display.
The buds on these plants were quite spectacular.
This afternoon I have done some cooking as we had a bit of a milk mountain. So made a rice pudding, a crumble and a pasta bake for dinner. Have been to see Sarah and David this evening to catch up on their news.
Feeling a bit weary now, but getting back to normal, whatever that is.

  1. Oh dear, you did have blog problems. Got there in the end though.
Glad to hear you’ve not overdone today, well not too much. Sounds like a pleasant messing about day. I like days like that.
They really do make an effort up north with the posters and signs etc and the shop displays. wish they did that sort of thing this way, but all we get is spray can graffiti everywhere ☹️
You soon miss the sea when you’re away from it. It is a sight to behold, and never gets boring. Makes for some great photos too.
It’s probably a daft question, but why do you order so much milk if you keep ending up with milk mountains? It’s save you a bit of time in the kitchen as well.
Well don’t get back to normal too quickly, because that’d mean toiling on the garden etc. At least have a few quiet days before you even think about that!

It was good to see the sea, I don’t tire of it.

  3. Blimey yes. I remember the old notes in the milk bottle, and the birds pecking through the foil top to get the cream, and in the freezing weather the cream used to freeze and rise up out the bottle, made a perfect lollipop 😄
