Trip to the garden centre for a coffee and natter!

I will start today’s entry with a very bad photo! I was sitting in my rocking chair and could see a different bird up on a wire, got the camera and tried to catch it through double layers of window and a lot of zoom! Fairly sure it was a swift, but it is open to interpretation!
Angela called for me at 10am and we went to Hornsea garden centre. We had a long chat over a cuppa and then had a good wander round. I got a new suet block feeder which is easier to open, and then in The Works outlet I spotted a brush pen calligraphy kit reduced. When I got to the till it came up as only £4 and I had 90p on my loyalty card so got it for £3.10. Definitely bargains of the day!

Then we had another drink and a scone as we were going straight to the parish hall for a meeting about the Families at Three project. Then of course we got set up and helped run the group.
Tina had been busy today so she and I went to the sea and had fish and chips for tea. It was very cold down there! Tina did managed to get a bit of charge into the car as well as one of the bays was free.

I was in a lot of pain this morning, first thing and didn’t feel too good. That improved through the day but not over doing it tonight!

  1. You’re right, that is a bad photo 😊 No idea was at sort of bird it is. Glad you had a nice trip out, bargains are always good. I look forward to seeing a multi colour calligraphic masterpiece very soon.
What with the group stuff this afternoon it’s kept you busy all day, and off the garden! Fish and chips by the sea is always a great way to finish a day, even if it’s freezing.
Don’t forget to take some pills before you turn in tonight. You don’t want another rough one.
