We parked at Withernsea and had a drink before having a leisurely walk along the front.
Another drink and then we came home. I have finished reading the book this evening, it really was a good novel. But I did get outside for just over an hour and dug over the area where Darren had lifted the pavers for me up to the summer house. I levelled it off a bit and will turn it over again before getting Darren to replace the pavers.
Carol and Sal came this evening to cut our hair and then Darren took me down to have fish and chips by the sea.
I finished the book a little while ago, I do have the second one in the series to start!
Will finish with a lovely image anonymous Rachel sent me!
That is definitely the road to nowhere! Looks like you had a nice little trip out. Will you be doing it again? I like the crab. I’m surprised the oiks haven’t managed to break bits off of that!
ReplyDeleteThe path to the summerhouse looks a bit clearer now. It’s handy having Darren as a labourer because if you didn’t you’d be lifting the slabs around!
I desperately need a haircut. Come to think of it I desperately need nice seaside fish and chips too 😊
The pic from Rachel is lovely. It has all the things in it that you like.
Nice trip out yesterday, Withernsea was pretty quiet when we arrived, lot of school kids around when we were leaving as it was lunchtime then.
DeleteAnother much needed garden hip job on the way to being controlled for a while at least!
