Buddy annoys her and her can’t get up there!
I got the first train quite quickly and there was plenty of room for me and my case, which is always a bonus! On Doncaster station a man had the most adorable dog. He followed his master with the lead in his mouth, dropped the lead while we waited for the lift and then picked it up again when we started moving. When we arrived at the platform we wanted h the man took him to jump up on the chair and he waited as good as gold until the train came in, not getting down until he was told and the train had stopped. If only they were all like that!
The second journey was overcast and then wet!
I planned to go to the Vodafone shop in Hull as my phone hasn’t been charging properly for a while now so I wondered if the battery was dying. Because of that I had the charger in my bag and for the first time plugged it in on the train. When I was walking to the store I realised that I had removed the phone and left the charger plugged in on the train! The guy in Vodafone was great, looked at the settings etc and then tried the phone on one of their chargers and said it was working okay, he did comment that I hadn’t had a full charge for a couple of weeks. So, I bought a new charging cable and plug and the phone is now fully charged!
I was really so tired when I got home and feeling a bit low, but have unpacked and checked trees etc in the garden and feeling more relaxed now. I usually visit Sarah and David on Monday evenings but have told them I will go round tomorrow instead, and have also let the family group know that ai will not be at the session tomorrow. It has been a pretty full on and stressful week so just going to wind down a bit.
It’s been a long old day for you then. I’m sure Rose will cope with the tasks she has to do for Margherita. They’re so used to their own company they’re probably glad to see the back of you π
ReplyDeleteThe dog is very cute and amazingly well behaved. As you say if only they were all like that. Might consider having one myself if they were. Your journey was pretty uneventful, apart from leaving the charger on the train! Never mind, all sorted now. You managed a few pics as well, including the obligatory bridge π
Nice to get home in some ways, but not in others. Glad you’ve decided against the group tomorrow. Spend the time having a nice late lunch somewhere nice. That can be part of your winding down process. Don’t do any gardening either, just jobs you enjoy like feeding the birds. It’d do you good to relax a bit more. Find some places you’d like to visit and plan some trips out. You’re a bit of an old codger now, so do it while you still can π
Quite a long day, but a pleasant enough journey, nothing too crowded and was seen quite quickly at the phone store. The new plants were very dry but still pretty so have watered them well and I think they will be okay. Will try to get them into the garden tomorrow. But no major gardening!
