Boot sale and greenhouse sorting

We left early to go to the boot sale, it was pretty busy by the time we arrived. We waited a while for our sandwiches and then had a good wander round, Darren got a couple of packs of unusual playing cards and some snack bars that he. Has with his packed lunch. We got Tina some emery boards and a pair of stud earrings and also a lovely New Testament from Jerusalem with an olive wood cover lovely illustrations. I got a large vase for 50p and a pack of notecards for £1, oh, and a book of quotations for 50p, good for calligraphy practice!
I won’t a lot of the day sorting out the greenhouse, stacking tubs, cleaning spilt bird food and general dirt and also using Windowlene on the panes again. I had also bought some tomato plants at the boot sale and they are now in the greenhouse along with some panted seeds!

The tubs there are all empty, although a couple of tubs with bird food in are still stored the other side.
After dinner I watered the bonsai trees and have had a shower. Now watching Grace which is really good.
Going to the icon class in Bridlington tomorrow and will hopefully get my icon finished.

  1. Lots of boot sale bargains today. That’s a very nice vase for 50p. The New Testament with the wooden cover sounds very nice too.
Nice to have the greenhouse back in a usable state as a greenhouse. Will you leave the tomatoes in the pots or get grow bags for them?
It’ll be good to get the icon finished. A lot of work has gone into that and I think it looks great. Just don’t drop it 😊

    1. I am going to leave them in the pots, they are a good size so they should be okay. They are cherry tomatoes which I like.
I hope the icon is completed tomorrow, don’t think I have a great deal more to do.
