The weather has been dreary today and what I have to write about is pretty dreary too. I did go along the road to post some letters for Tina and to collect some more lateral flow tests from the chemist. I thought about going into the garden for a while but it began to rain so ended up doing chores. I moved things around in the bedroom and found a home for the pile of empty boxes which have been adorning my bedroom! Then I sorted out the spare bedroom and pumped up the air bed and Tina’s niece and her children are visiting later in the week revising Tina hasn’t tested positive by then. I ordered a new driving licence a few days ago, free if you are over seventy. Easy form on line and not even a new put needed. I don’t drive now but it is good as picture ID. I went out again to send the old one back, checking very carefully that I cut the right side me in half! Two pics of the church when I went to post it and one of a nice cluster of crocuses in the churchyard.
I do a free postcode lottery every day on line, suggested to me by Mike years ago. There are sometimes offers which I usually just skip past, but last week you could send for a wash bag made completely from recycled plastic. Just had to pay postage. It arrived today and it is very attractive.
Getting lots of emails and offers from then now, but it is a very interesting range.
I have filled in an NHS patient survey this evening, I have had lots of messages about it and two copies of the form, so thought I would do it as they are so keen for a response!
The forecast for this week is more dreary days, so have better get my thinking cap on for tomorrow!
It has been a dreary day today. But it’s that time of year I suppose. Roll on summer! At least you got a few odd jobs out of the way.
ReplyDeleteThe crocuses are looking good, and I really like the second pic of the church.
I very rarely read the offers on the free postcode lottery, but maybe I should. The bag looks good and postage only makes it even better. Something for for almost nothing is always good 😊
They are keen when it comes to the patient surveys. I’ve been bombarded with them before and they don’t let up until you fill it in. They’re keen 😊
Knowing you you’ll find lots of things to keep you occupied. Just don’t throw too much stuff out!
Will try to stay away from sorting and do something creative tomorrow!
