Back to the pool!

Went down to the leisure centre this morning, not thinking about swimming but water walking. It was quite overcast today so a greyish sea.

I walked in the pool for getting on for half an hour, hopefully it does some good! The weather had changed by the time I came out, so a very different seascape.

I did some household chores before lunch and then caught the bus up to Freeport this afternoon. I wanted some toiletries from Pound Stretcher. I had a hot chocolate and then thought I would call in at the pottery painting place on the off chance that our things were ready. They were and they had tried phoning a couple of times but Bel hasn’t got an answer phone. My plate is a bit disappointing and the miniatures not too bad, but Bel’s rabbit is great!

I got a half price desk lamp in one of the shops, the base is really heavy. Need to get an adaptor or put a new plug on it but I think it is pretty stylish.
I got the bus home and phoned Bel straight away and took her rabbit round to her. She is really pleased with how well it turned out. As I was walking back I thought I may have left my phone on her coffee table. I couldn’t ring her to check so went back round! She hasn’t noticed it but I have it back now.
Carol and Sal came round this evening to cut my hair nd Darren’s. They seem to be fine and are looking forward to the start of the boot sales again from Sunday.
Quite a full day so feeling weary this evening,

  1. I think the water walking is good for you, after all Jesus never complained did he? 😊
It’s amazing the difference half an hour made to the pics. Looks like a different day. I really like the fourth one with the breaker stretching right out to sea.
I think the oops plate is ok. It is after all an “oops” plate. The little miniatures are lovely, really cute, as is Bel’s rabbit. I think she’ll want to go again.
I do like your new lamp. That’ll be great for reading and crafting. Heavy base is good too with the two hooligans you have in the house. The cats are a nuisance too 😄
Your hair looks nice as usual, they always do a good job. Was it a two handed haircut today?
Not surprised you’re weary, you’ve done way more exercise than I have!

  2. It was a two hander until Sal started cutting Darren's hair.

  3. Hit publish before I finished!
Doctors do recommend walking in water for muscle strengthening now, and it is quite therapeutic.
Have told Bel I will go with her if she decides to paint again.
