I thought I would make some cards, but finished me and then turned my thoughts to sewing!
When I met Anya in Doncaster last year she got me a ‘make your own bear’, except it is a rabbit and you weren’t actually allowed to do any of the making because of Covid! We did look at the clothes but that would have made it an even more extravagant gift so I said I would make her something. I named her Donny and have been thinking for a while that I really should make the top! I cut a pattern and had measured Donny as best I could, when it was together it wasn’t big enough!
So, made another pattern and found another piece of material! It does fit now!
I intend to get her name on it,have started but it is making my wrist ache a bit.
The weather is supposed to be pretty bad tomorrow, but I won’t be going out much until wide see how things go
Covid wise in the house. I can go out and about as usual as I don’t have symptoms but I won’t be going around mixing with people to be safe.
Oh dear, not very good news for your household. Hopefully Darren will keep it to himself and not pass it on to you two. Does sound as though the Rev might go down with something though. You better not get it as then who would look after the sick people?
ReplyDeleteEaster cards already. Soon be time to make Christmas cakes again!
Donny looks good in her new dress. Even better once her name is on it too. It always amazes me that you fit so many little jobs in in a day, and how varied they are. You should never get bored.
A Sunday in will make a change as if you’re not booting you usually make it out for breakfast. You can have a lay in tomorrow instead.
Thanks for noticing the title, I obviously didn’t check it too well.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad day and good to get Donny dressed!
May do some of the name tomorrow.
